Breathing Tube is Out!!!!

Today they took the breathing tube out and he is doing extremely well. All of the doctors are pleased with how much progress he has made after such a difficult surgery... As you can see he is even taking some pedialyte by mouth. The doctors remain very optimistic.

When my nephew gets home...I'm going to have him fitted for a new pair of RED SOX while Aunt Jamee sings him lullabies like the classics of Neil Diamond "Sweet Caroline" and "Dirty Water" by The Standells...that is if he can stand nails on a chalk board by the sound of her singing voice...all kidding aside...Aunt Jame and I love you...it's good to see your eyes wide open...we'll be seeing you soon.

Dear Mel,
I've been following all of your updates and I am so happy to hear about Colin's progress. I'm sure your Dad told you, but each day I talk to my Dad up in heaven and I ask him to stand by Colin's side as his Guardian Angel. Please know my family prays for you daily.

Love,
Joelle
