Buffalo Wild Child......

We took Colin out to dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings last night and he had a lot of fun. He was such a good boy! Well, Colin has been doing better since we saw Dr. Kveselis on Friday. We are keeping his food at the same rate but, we decreased his Lasix.

He stayed at Papa and Grandma's house on Friday night so mommy and daddy could get some much needed sleep! He also slept great last night!! His fever spiked yesterday to 102 in the afternoon. Hoping that it's med related like everyone has said and that (fingers crossed) it goes away this week when he is finally off his Methadone and Ativan. Wednesday, Colin gets his J-tube replaced to a mickey J which means no big tube hanging off him!! We are hoping to do the entire procedure with just a big dose of Ativan!! Oh yea...and he doesn't need to wear the oxygen during the day anymore......
Check out these photo's taken this morning.....Can you tell who Colin is rooting for today at Talladega?

Oh how cute. Looks like he had fun even though he would not eat anything. Glad you guys got some much needed sleep. Wish the fevers would go away. Hope all goes well during the procedure Wednesday. Call me after. So glad to see no oxygen during the day. Kisses and loves.

Colin looks great and with his big smiles you'd never guess that he had fevers. It's great that he is off the oxygen during the day. Good luck on Wednesday, I'm praying that all he needs is the Ativan! Love, Auntie Sue
PS. He looks like a real wild child in the first picture. You better watch out...

He looks great! And yea for no oxygen! Glad to hear that he's doing better. I'll bet he's a happy guy right now. I just checked the race and Jr. is leading! He really knows those restrictor plate tracks! Hopefully the change to the mic-key goes well! Makes it so much nicer when the tube can come off the button at a 90 degree angle & not stick straight up from the skin level - gives you lots more options for outfits! Oops - Gordon in the lead now! Go Hendricks Motorsports!

Heart Hugs!

*giggling*

so cute!!

We love the mic key button ...

our only problem w/ the mic key lately is they keep springing leaks! he rubs on and off the couch and wears them out...??

one time I didn't find out he lost his mic key until a couple hours later when I had to feed him...
I could hardly get another one in!

I keep KY w/ me at all times w/ an extra mic key...
even if I go to my mom's.. I have an extra mic key..
a mic key fell out in Beaver one time too...
always have an extra one!!

AND SLEEP!! I'm jealous... what is that anyway??

Look at him with NO O2!!!
That was the first thing I noticed!!
He's into every sport isn't he??
And a mickey button...that's pretty snazzy Colin!!
Hope the fevers stay away and the O2 stays off!!
What a wonderful weekend!

Look at that adorable little face! I'm so glad to see him without a cannula on his face, this is a huge step. It looks like he had some fun at dinner. I hope he has many more wonderful days. I'm praying this next procedure goes well.

Love,

Vanessa

He is just so darn cute. He has the same football player stature that our Elijah has....I LOVE IT!

I'm hoping you're right about the temp and that it is drug-related and will be gone very soon!

BWW!! Oh, we love BWW! Dan and I go there when we're feeling naughty and need something greasy and spicy.

Oh no...not another nascar fan!! I finally got over that he's not a Yankee fan...this might push me over the edge!

Colin is looking great with every new photo. Thank goodness there is an end for the Methadone & Ativan! I will keep checking the blog for more updates. Many more warm hugs and lots of prayers continue to be sent your way.

Thank you to Colin's Mom & Dad for keeping us all posted.
