Happy Opening Day!!!!!!!!
Today is a special day every year for us baseball fans..... Today Colin and I enjoyed the start of the baseball season by watching our NY Mets play the Florida Marlins.....As to keep tradition, we dress up in our Mets gear and get ready to watch the game......As you can see in the photo, Colin was all jacked up to watch the new look Mets.......

Way to go, nothing better than a real baseball team enjoyed by a father and a son. I was concerned there for a while that Boston was corrupting you guys but now everything is right in the baseball world. For now you can store that Red Sox hat he got in the closet and at some point you are going to have another father/son moment....it will go something like this. Tim yelling up the stairs, "Colin, I told you to take the garbage out. This is the last time I am going to tell you. As long as you live under my roof you will follow my rules and taking out the garbage is one of them." Colin says, "OK Dad but I was just grabbing that Red Sox hat. I know you and Mom meant well back then but it needs to go" And some where in the background the Cats and the Cradle song will be playing, ah yes what a great father & son moment it will be!! Happy opening day, but most importantly you were able to enjoy it together as a family. Love you guys.

A little secret...
my high school sweetheart/ex hubby was a professional ballplayer for the Dodgers... for 5 years he was in the minor leagues... he got to AAA.... and he said he spent 2 weeks "in the show"...

Nice to see Colin looking so good! I do think that the look on his face in picture 2 says, "this would be so much more interesting if it was the Red Sox".....I can just see the wheels turning! :)
